Party Like a Rock Star!

I decided to throw Noah a rock star birthday party - let's face it, he's a very edgy little boy :)

We had a full house & felt so blessed to celebrate his first year of life with such wonderful family & friends. It was a great time!

I made him an electric guitar cake but frankly, he was much more interested in the fork :)

He got lots of great gifts & some awesome new toys to play with! He especially took a liking to a baseball - maybe we have a future slugger on our hands??

So I know I haven't posted in a really REALLY long time. Sorry. Being 4 + months pregnant, I've been a little bit sick & super tired...ok, let's face it - I've pretty much been sick & tired of doing anything that requires more energy than flipping the pages of a magazine or changing the channel on the tv.

But alas, I bring you a (very) long overdue post.

So Noah turned one 2 weeks ago & we had a really fun filled day! We went to the splash pads with my friend Jennifer and her 3 kids. Noah was a wee bit dazed & confused - not only was it nap time but it was also his first water experience outside of a bath.

After a much need snooze session, George & I took him to Mickey D's for lunch & his very first happy meal - he was a very happy boy :) We spent the rest of the day playing at home & getting ready for his birthday bash.

I still can't believe our first year as parents is over.

Just an update...

So Noah had a checkup this morning & he is doing great!

He is off the charts in every single category (including cuteness!)

Here are his stats:

Weight- just shy of 26 pounds

Height- 30.5 inches (this was the biggest change since his last visit)

Head- 19 inches

There was some concern after his last appointment that his head was growing too quickly & could be an indication of a more serious problem but today the doctor said that his height has caught up to his head - so no more cause for concern. Praise God - we have a happy, healthy ~~little~~ big boy!
